Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) you have rights over the personal data we hold about you. This page explains those rights and how to use them. What we collect and why is described in our privacy policy; the cookies we use are listed on our cookies page. Last updated: 25 September 2026.
Your rights at a glance
- Access: know which data we have about you and receive a copy.
- Rectification: have wrong or incomplete data corrected.
- Erasure: have your data deleted, the "right to be forgotten".
- Restriction: have us keep your data but stop using it while a question is open.
- Portability: receive the data you gave us in a machine-readable file.
- Objection: object to processing based on our legitimate interest, and always to direct marketing.
- Withdrawing consent: stop what you once agreed to, such as cookies or newsletters.
- Complaint: turn to a data protection authority.
Using your rights is free. We answer within one month. For a complex request we may need up to two months more; we tell you if that is the case and why.
Access to your personal data
You can ask which personal data we process about you, why we do so, who receives it and how long we keep it, and receive a copy. Much of it you can see yourself in your account: your orders, addresses and details.
Rectification
Is your name, address or email address wrong or incomplete? Change it in your account, or ask us and we correct it.
Erasure (right to be forgotten)
You can ask us to delete your personal data. We then remove your customer account and profile, which also ends any active Routine (subscription) and your access to your order history. Data we must keep by law, such as invoices for the tax authorities (seven years), we keep for that period only and no longer use for anything else.
Restriction of processing
While we check a correction or an objection, or if you need the data for a legal claim, you can ask us to keep your data but stop using it.
Data portability
You can receive the data you gave us, such as your account details and order history, in a common machine-readable format, or ask us to send it to another company where that is technically possible.
Objection and direct marketing
You can object to processing we base on our legitimate interest. We then stop, unless we have compelling grounds that outweigh your interests. You can always object to direct marketing: use the unsubscribe link in any email, or contact us, and we stop.
Withdrawing consent
Where we rely on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time. Cookies: use "Cookie settings" at the bottom of every page. Newsletter: use the unsubscribe link in every email. Withdrawing consent does not affect what happened before.
How to submit a request
Email contact@clearly.eu from the email address linked to your account, or use the contact form. Tell us which right you want to use and, for a request about an order, the order number. If we cannot tell that a request comes from you, we ask you to confirm it first, so nobody else can use your rights. We reply within one month.
Your address and account details you can also change yourself under "Account".
